At the State + Local Election Alliance, our mission is straightforward: defend democracy by ensuring the officials responsible for running elections will protect the right to vote and uphold the rule of law. Our team brings decades of experience in building organizations, running winning campaigns, and defending democracy where it is most vulnerable.
SLEA is actively monitoring and investing in battleground states, with a focus on races that will shape elections in 2027, 2028, and beyond. Our approach concentrates research, resources, and relationships in these races, investing early and strategically to build durable power.
